Veterans Career Pathways Program
The Shasta College Veterans Career Pathways Program (VCPP) is designed to provide the most up-to-date support for helping you achieve a fulfilling career, career change, or career advancement.
The VCPP walks participants through career skill exploration and development, integration of work experience and education, resume and cover letter writing, tailored resources, interview preparation and support, informational or mock interview experience, career opportunities, and employer engagement.
The VCPP operates as a cohort model that takes place during Shasta College’s fall and spring semesters. Each fall (16-weeks) and spring (16-weeks) are considered separate cohorts. The time commitment for each cohort can vary depending on an applicant’s dedication to the Program; but expect to dedicate a minimum of (8) hours of your time (in the entire 16-week cohort) to achieve the full quality of the Program. The meetings (“Pathway Stops”) will be scheduled around your current commitments. View our Academic Calendar.
A staff member from Shasta College Veterans Services will reach out to you once your application has been reviewed.
