MESA is a place to find and build community on campus. We support students pursuing four-year degrees in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Our primary goal is to provide academic support. STEM is challenging, and it can be easy to feel discouraged, but we are here to help you find solutions to achieve your transfer goals!

By participating in the MESA Program, students can achieve the following:

  • Develop collaborative work skills in their chosen field of study and demonstrate effective study skills to master the material.
  • Identify long-term support systems, including faculty, on-campus resources, professional organizations, and potential employers.
  • Explore and enact an educational plan outlining the requirements for transferring to and completing a degree at a four-year institution.
  • Build a resume to secure internships for professional development in preparation for future employment.
  • Demonstrate the confidence necessary to successfully navigate the academic process at their transfer institution.

Qualifications

  1. Are you required to take calculus as part of your course work for your planned degree?
  2. Do you intend to transfer?
  3. Are you receiving Financial Aid?
  4. My parents do not have a college degree.
