Residential Housing is a living and learning environment. It is our hope you will increase your academic ability, learn more about yourself, grow in your experiences with other people, and have a better understanding of your local and global community.

Information on how to apply can be found under Apply for Housing.

About Residence Halls

Shasta College maintains two dormitories, one for 63 women and one for 63 men. The commons building provides recreational space and equipment for both indoor and outdoor activities as part of the facility.

A full range of social and recreational activities is programmed monthly for the enjoyment of the residents.

Students must carry and maintain satisfactory progress of a 2.0 GPA in at least 12 units to remain in the dorms. Our Residential Housing Contract is set up covering the academic year, from August to May. This is a 10-month obligation; students must contact the Housing Director for any exceptions.

Students are advised to apply early to place their name on the waiting list.
