This person will be keen and perceptive towards our day-to-day operations and business needs. Must be highly intuitive in terms of customer satisfaction and resolving all potential customer complaints and issues. This role will be responsible for full barista duties including: weighing shots, measuring water and tea levels, brewing tea, steaming milk to a perfect foam, pouring drinks in rapid succession, deep cleaning, and sanitizing every minute of the day. Must bring a positive attitude to the workplace and successfully pass our probationary period in order to remain hired as an employee. This person values preparation over impulse, teamwork over personal glory, and will prioritize precision and accuracy above all. All prospective interviewees will undergo a barista bar examination to test the areas of: dialing in shots, proper tamping, proper shot extraction, water and milk temperature selections, along with plenty of other drink making skills. The ideal candidate will care deeply about the customer’s experience and will do everything in their power to ensure a flawless purchasing experience with us.
Requirements
- College student or recent graduate preferred. High School or equivalent acceptable
- Prior barista experience along with professional blender usage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledgeable working with Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets
- Natural problem solver exhibiting extreme attention to detail
- Common sense
- Well-organized and meticulous nature. Detail oriented
Responsibilities
- Assist with opening and closing the shop
- Conduct all morning and evening brewing processes
- Support with dishwashing and cash register duties
- Sanitizing all touch points on an hourly basis
- Learning recipes and making drinks
- Restocking all supplies and condiments as needed
- Working with delivery apps to ensure prompt and accurate send-off
- Harmonize with our team and become a part of the family and crew
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour + tip + health benefits
