Full Job Description
We are a fast paced office seeking a well-organized, self-motivated, computer savvy individual with attention to detail. This position will assist the head biller with all of the following tasks. One year minimum of prior medical billing experience a must.
Job Duties:
-proficiency in ICD-10 and CPT coding
-ability to communicate well with staff and physicians
-posting of daily charges
-surgery coding
-sending claims (electronic and paper)
-posting incoming insurance money
-unpaid claims follow up
-appeals/resolving insurance problems
-patient collections
-prioritization of tasks
-works well with others
-importing documents into EHR
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
