Days / Hours M-F/8-5
Job Description
*Ensures reimbursement documentation is thorough and accurate, including services performed, patient demographics, insurance details and supporting documentation.
*Post payments and other reimbursement related updates.
*Reconcile insurance payments to patients accounts.
* Work with insurance companies to resolve issues such as claim denials.
*Act as a resource for company staff and patients regarding reimbursement criteria, requirements and issues.
Requirements
*Working knowledge of Medicare, private insurance, third party billing and patient billing preferred.
*Durable Medical Equipment (DME) billing experience preferred.
*Strong computer skills.
*Superior organizational skills.
*Ability to think and act independently in order to effectively manage multiple priorities and responsibilities.
*Enthusiastic about learning.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Ability to deal pleasantly, patiently and effectively with others.
*Detail oriented.
*High School graduate or G.E.D.
