REDDING – Shasta College will begin accepting new student registrations for their summer classes on April 9, 2014 with classes for the summer beginning June 9th. Online and on-campus classes are available at a variety of times and days to accommodate any busy summer schedule. Students are encouraged to signup online at http://www.shastacollege.edu/apply or to make an appointment with one of Shasta College’s counselors by calling 530-242-7724.

Students enrolled to attend High School in the coming year can sign up for Shasta’s summer classes (known as concurrent enrollment) on April 22, 2014 and earn High School AND college credits. Concurrently enrolled High School students have the benefit of paying only the Campus and Health fees, a marginal cost of less than $40, to register for the semester in addition to the costs of books, materials or supplies, if there are any. Concurrent students MUST enroll in person at the Admissions and Records Office.

Fall Semester registration for new students begins June 2. Classes are projected to fill quickly and priority registration will be given to those students who have completed orientation, assessment and an educational plan ahead of time. Students are encouraged to call and make an appointment TODAY to begin this process so they won’t lose priority registration for high demand classes needed for degree or certificate completion. Fall classes begin August 18th.  Junior and Senior High School students (concurrently enrolled students) can register for any of our online or on-campus classes August 5, 2014 in person at Shasta College’s Admissions and Records center and enjoy earning college credits at practically no cost!
