REDDING – Shasta College announces the 23rd Annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration, Monday, May 5th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Shasta College Student Center Quad. The celebration is free and open to the public.

Activities include dances by Corning High School Ballet Folklorico Azatlan and by the Anderson Teen Center Ballet Folklorico, photo booth fun, children’s face painting, interactive dance performances from the Wicked Wahines, a baleros competition, a grito contest, soccer presentation, candy prizes, piñata breaking for children, Shasta College and community booths and more. A tamale lunch will be available for $4 if you purchase tickets before the event, or $5 the day of the event.

Parking will be free in the North lot during the event.
