Shasta College’s Division of Arts, Communications, Consumer and Social Sciences presents a gripping modern English language adaptation of W. A. Mozart’s “Don Giovanni”.  Set in the Appalachian Mountains of eastern Tennessee, the opera tells the story of the violent amoral gang leader, Captain Johnny, and his eventual punishment. 

Performances will take place in the Shasta College theatre, Jan. 29-31 and Feb. 6-7 at 7:00 p.m.; as well as Sunday, Feb. 8 at 3:00 p.m.  Tickets are available at the door for $12.00 (general admission) and $8.00 (seniors and students), or online through the Shasta College website (www.shastacollege.edu).  For more information call the Division of Arts, Communications, Consumer and Social Sciences at (530) 242-7730.
