On October 26, 2014 at approximately 8:30 p.m. an undetermined number of male and female subjects approached several Shasta College students in the North parking area of the college's main campus. A disagreement occurred between them. The subjects left in two vehicles: the first a black 4-door and the second a silver 4-door.  The make or model of these vehicles is undetermined. The subjects' faces were covered during the altercation. They left the parking area firing multiple shots from a firearm out the vehicle’s window.  There were no injuries as a result of the incident.

Campus Safety is working with the Redding Police Department on this matter. Anyone with information is asked to contact Campus Safety at 242-7910 or the Redding Police Department at 225-4564.  All media inquiries are to be directed to the Superintendent/President's Office at 242-7510.
