On August 5th, from 1–5 pm, Shasta College’s Geographic Information Systems Program will host a free open house entitled “Your Techno World via Geospatial Technologies.” This informational event will feature short presentations, self-exploration and guided-activities with GIS, and the opportunity to meet with GIS professionals from government, industry and education. This event is targeted to those looking to enhance existing employment, improve workplace prospects and build upon knowledge from related academic disciplines. All are welcome.

This event is free to the public and will be held in room 1316 at the main Shasta college Campus at Old Oregon Trail and CA299. Parking is free.
