Shasta College Country Christmas Fair and Christmas Tree Sale

REDDING, CA – Shasta College will usher in the Christmas season with their annual Country Christmas Fair, Saturday and Sunday, December 7-8 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Shasta College Farm. Handcrafted gifts from Shasta College students and local creators will be available for purchase. 'Tis the season to support students and small businesses! Proceeds from student-made sales benefit Shasta College students. In addition to shopping, there will be a variety of free family-friendly activities such as, writing a letter to Santa and meeting him in-person from 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday! Kids can make a fun holiday craft in the craft corner, as well as take a bounce in the bounce house. A petting zoo will give everyone a chance to enjoy some baby goats and other cute critters. There will also be a Christmas photo booth as a perfect spot for a family holiday photo. Shasta College Phi Theta Kappa Chapter will be hosting a food service booth, where delicious breakfast, lunch, and snack items will be available for purchase.
While visiting the Shasta College Farm for the Country Christmas Fair pick out a Christmas Tree. There will be a variety of tree species and tree sizes. All proceeds benefit the Shasta College Ag Leadership students and contribute to scholarships, professional development, and travel for CA Agriculture industry field trips. Tree species include: Noble Fir, Nordmann Fir, Douglas Fir, Silver Tip, and more! Tree prices vary by size. Cash, check, or card will be accepted! Tree trimming and netting available at no extra cost.
Trees will be available on a first come, first served basis and no appointment or presale is necessary. Military and first responder discount available at checkout. Free coffee and hot chocolate will be available as you browse our selection. Bring 6 non-perishable, non-expired canned food items and receive $3 off one tree. Canned food will be donated to the Good News Rescue Mission.
All patrons and visitors will park in the Solar Array Parking Lot (Sycamore Parking Lot) and take the short walk into the farm. Please look for and follow the signs. When entering the campus from the South Entrance, stay to the right and follow the signs to the Sycamore Parking Lot. Our Ag students will be operating shuttles to help transport people to and from vehicles throughout the day. Handicap parking is available at the farm with a valid permit. Once visitors have purchased a tree they will be directed back to their vehicle with a receipt to drive around and pick up their tree. Gates into the farm will remain closed until 9:00 a.m. and the road into the farm from our North Entrance will be closed.
