The Shasta College Community Chorale will be holding auditions during the first three weeks of the spring term, starting January 26th, 2015. The Choir will be singing two exciting current works, the “O Nata Lux” by Los Angeles composer Morten Lauridsen, and a new piece, “The Dorchester Canticles” by English composer Tarik O’Regan. Both groups are accompanied by instrumental groups including strings and harp. The choir is seeking new members for the concert to be performed in May. The Chorale meets on Monday evenings at 7:00 in room 638 on the Shasta College campus. Men and women who have some basic musical skill and a desire to sing are welcome.
