This holiday season don’t miss the premiere concert event for the entire family as the Community Chorale performs live in the Shasta College Theatre on Saturday, Dec.14, at 7:30 p.m. Let the melodies and majesty of Haydn’s music set the tone for the season as the 50-voice strong Chorale is joined by members of the Shasta Symphony Orchestra to perform  “Theresienmesse” in Bb.  Soloists include soprano Daun Weiss, alto Natasha Czajka, tenor Pedro Betancourt, and bass Robert Waterbury.

The enchantment will continue during the second half of the concert with the sparkling holiday music of “When Icicles Hang,” for small orchestra and choir by English composer John Rutter. The choirs are under the direction of Dr. Elizabeth Waterbury.

Tickets will be available online through the Shasta College website (www.shastacollege.edu) or at the door for $10.00 for general admission and $8.00 for seniors and students.
