Shasta College Announces Spring Choral Concert

REDDING –The Shasta College Chamber and Concert Choirs will be performing their year-end vocal and instrumental concert Saturday, May 10, in the Shasta College Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Tickets will be available online through the Shasta College website (www.shastacollege.edu) or at the door for $7.00 - general admission and $5.00 - seniors and students. 

The Chamber Choir will sing the “Irish Blessing” of  David Conte, and  the “Trois Chanson” by Claude Debussy. The Concert Choir will sing the “The Awakening” by Joseph Martin, among other choral pieces. The choirs will join forces in the final piece to sing Mendelssohn’s “He, Watching Over Israel” from the oratorio Elijah. Student soloists will include Natasha Czajka, Paige Kelly, Marshall Jones III, and Adam Gilbert. Student instrumentalists will include John Maich, violin.
