Pink Poinsettias to Raise Funds for Students with Health Emergencies

REDDING, CA – The Shasta College Horticulture Department, Student Veterans Department, and Shasta College Foundation are raising funds through the sale of pink poinsettias for students who have significant travel expenses due to treatment for serious illnesses.
Starting November 20, the Horticulture department will sell pink poinsettias in a 6” pot size with a decorative pot cover for $7.00 each. Half of the proceeds from the sale of the pink poinsettias will help Shasta College students who have had to travel for treatment due to a severe illness. To order from our Square site, visit https://shasta-college-nursery.square.site/. Pickup instructions will be emailed once an order has been placed. To purchase in person, the horticulture department is open Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., closed November 28 and 29, 2024.
The plants will also be on sale during the Country Christmas Fair at the Shasta College Farm on December 7 and 8 from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
