New Website

Welcome to the new Shasta College website!

Shasta College has just completed the conversion of our website to a new system. We hope that you will appreciate the updated style as well. The primary design goal was to make it easier to find and read content. For the most part, all of the content is the same, though you will notice some changes to the home page and the main menu.

Since no conversion is perfect, you may also notice a few links or images that don’t work quite yet or even some unusually large text. Please be patient with us as we repair these issues over the next few weeks. If you would like to report an issue with the website, please click the black “Feedback / Request Info” button at the bottom right of any page.

Following are a few tips for the best browsing experience:

• If you are using Internet Explorer, version 9 or 10 will provide the best browsing experience. You can view the website with version 8 or below, but the website style will look a little different. Recent versions of other browsers such as Firefox, Chrome, or Safari also provide the best browsing experience.
• The main menu appears a little different, and now you must click the menu header in order to open the menu. After the initial click, the other menus will open automatically by hovering the mouse over the menu header. Some menu items have been added and some have been moved to another menu. One example of an added menu item is the Final Exam Schedule link, which is now in the Academics menu. Another example is that some of the Student Services menu items have been moved to the Resources menu. Also, if you're looking for the "Directory / Contacts" link, it's now called "Contact Us" and is at the top of every page.
