Nationally acclaimed child development expert and author Bev Bos is coming to the Shasta College Theatre, Saturday, September 28, from 9 am-12 noon to present “Memories and Traditions.” Cost is $10/person, group discounts available (contact mbrace@first5shasta.org). Geared toward parents and teachers of young children this workshop centers on the importance of traditions and examines the sustaining value of childhood memories. It offers a “rant for children’s play” and enthusiastic plug for fostering traditions and forging long-lasting memories with our own children and those we teach.

Bev Bos has been Director and Teacher at the Roseville Community Preschool in Roseville, California for over 40 years. She is author of four books for teachers and parents and has presented over 6,000 early childhood education workshops and keynotes.
