Former Tennessee Titan Jovan Haye will share his personal story of triumph over adversity as he struggled to overcome severe Dyslexia. Join him Thursday, October 16th at 7:00pm in the Shasta College Gym for a FREE conversation that is sure to inspire, educate and help give you the determination to win in life!

Despite growing up in poverty, suffering abuse at home, and thinking he was “dumb” because of undiagnosed dyslexia, Haye beat the odds. Jovan Haye’s success in team sports gave him the confidence to face other challenges and to overcome his biggest obstacle of all—severe dyslexia. He became an honor roll student, graduated from Vanderbilt and went on to play seven years in the NFL.  Bigger Than Me is Jovan’s book about how he beat dyslexia and his triumphs both on and off the field.
