James Santos, former Cirque du Soleil artistic director of DRALION will return to Shasta College this summer as Guest Artist and Choreographer for the smash Broadway hit “CHICAGO”.  Santos, a founding director of A Cascade Christmas and a local dancer and producer, left Redding to serve as an Assistant Artistic director for Cirque du Soleil. He and his family now reside in Las Vegas. In describing his return James had this to say, “…I am thrilled to come back to Redding and work with the appreciative group of artists who make the north state their home. I am honored to work on a show such as “Chicago the musical”, it is an awesome evening of theatre for audiences and artist alike.”

“CHICAGO” will perform for three weekends beginning July 10 through July 26 at the Shasta College Theatre. Auditions will be held April 21-23, from 7:00-10:00 pm. in the Shasta College Theatre. Rehearsals begin June 10.
