  • President's Update: October 27, 2020

    I trust you are doing well in spite of the emergencies on top of emergencies we continue to face and overcome. This is a little longer of an update, starting with some business relating to the changing tiers we find our area in and the way in which it affects our operations, followed by some great success stories.

  • Shasta College Provides WiFi Access for Students Via Campus Parking Lot

    To provide students with better access to online classes and resources, Shasta College is now offering free Wi-Fi in the Redding campus North parking lot and the Tehama, and Trinity Campus parking lots. Students may sign-up for 1 hour periods available from 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday starting October 26, 2020. Students may sign-up for more than one appointment per day.

  • Shasta County Moved to Tier 1 (Purple Tier)

    Shasta County Public Health recently announced that the State would be moving Shasta County to Tier 1 (Purple Tier) starting Tuesday, October 20. Because of the forward thinking of Shasta College leadership in deciding to maintain most classes online for the Fall semester, this change in status will have minimal impact for currently enrolled Shasta College students.   • STEP-UP Students Awarded Women in California leadership Scholarships

    Ashley Tirado and Alisha Cetina from Shasta College’s Shasta Technical Education Program-Unified Partnership (STEP-UP) have been awarded a Minerva Women in California Leadership Scholarship.
