How to access wi-fi guides


Currently Enrolled Students – iPhones & iPads

  1. In the iPhone settings, choose the Wi-Fi category and look for the network named “Shasta College” under the “Networks” portion.
  2. Tap on the “Shasta College” network, a login page will automatically load, click “Start”
    • Note: Do not choose the “Shasta College – Secure" network.
  3. Click the “Students / Faculty / Staff” button.
  4. Enter your portal username and password and click “Continue” If you do not have a Portal username yet, see the help section for “Guests and Visitors”
    • The following are valid formats for your portal username:
      • s.knights50@students.shastacollege.edu
  5. Your iPhone will automatically finish connecting to the “Shasta College” network

Currently Enrolled Students – Android

  1. In Android Settings->Connections->Wi-Fi, look for the network named “Shasta College” and connect.
  2. You’ll see it working to connect and will say “Sign in to the network” under the “Shasta College” Wi-Fi Network. Tap the “Sign in to network”.
  3. A sign in screen will open, tap the “Start” button.
  4. Choose the “Students / Faculty / Staff” tile.
  5. Enter your portal username and password and click “Continue” If you do not have a Portal username yet, see the help section for “Guests and Visitors”
    • The following are valid formats for your portal username:
      • s.knights50@students.shastacollege.edu
  6. Your phone will automatically finish connecting to the “Shasta College” network
