Robert Bowman

As Program Manager for the Shasta Technical Education Program-Unified Partnership (STEP-UP), Robert manages a grant of over $330,000. He coordinates all aspects of the program while serving as the primary liaison between Shasta College and the STEP-UP partner agencies: Good News Rescue Mission, California Heritage YouthBuild Academy, Shasta County Probation Department, and Shasta County Sheriff's Office. Robert is a Shasta College alum and received his bachelor's degree in human resource management and business administration from Simpson College and his master's degree in human resource management from National University.  

Prior to coming to Shasta College, he served as Employment Support Specialist for the National Guard Bureau and California National Guard. Robert is a twenty year Army veteran who is presently assigned to Joint Forces Headquarters in Sacramento as a Senior Human Resources Leader. Robert's military assignments included tours in Panama, Germany, South Korea, Kosovo, and Afghanistan. 

Robert is a graduate of Leadership Redding and is Past President of the Northern California Medical Managers Association and a Commitee Chair for Nor-Cal Think Pink. Robert serves as Adjutant for the Adjutant General Regimental Association.
