Andrew Jolliff
Mathematics Instructor
Part Time
I grew up in Salinas, CA and moved around the Central Valley for college (Stockton, Fresno, and Davis). I received a Bachelor's degree in mathematics, with a minor in physics, from Fresno State in 2001 and a Master's degree in physics in 2004. I then joined the Physics Ph.D. program at UC Davis where I picked up a second Master's degree in Physics while working on my Ph.D. I left the Ph.D. program in 2007 with an incomplete thesis due to health problems. Since graduate school I have been teaching physics and math. I taught both at the high school level in Stockton for 8 years prior to moving to Redding to be with family. I have been teaching at Shasta College since Fall 2017. I love being a part of the Shasta College community!
