About Orientation
The orientation includes information about Shasta College policies and procedures, tips for college success, and instruction in using MyShasta (the Shasta College online records and registration system).
Please Note: A supplemental orientation may be required for student participants in specialized programs such as Athletics, EOPS, PACE, International Students, etc. Please check with each program for specific information.
For Student Athletes
Future Shasta College student athletes will want to complete the online orientation and then make an appointment with Jason Kelly (JK), Counselor for Athletes, to discuss your Comprehensive Education Plan. Schedule an appointment at Student Athlete Counseling.
If you are a student athlete and have any trouble making an appointment at the link above, email JK at jkelly@shastacollege.edu and/or your recruiting coach as soon as possible. You can also call the Counseling Center at (530) 242-7724 and identify yourself as an athlete.
For International Students
International students are required to attend an in-person orientation. During the orientation, students will tour the campus, meet the international student advisor, learn class regulations, and register for classes.
