Botany
Botany 1 is an introduction to the structure, physiology, reproduction, life cycles and taxonomics of major plant and plant-like groups. Botany 50 examines local wildflowers in the laboratory in order to learn their structural characteristics. This knowledge is used to identify flowers usinga plant identification key and for sight identification. A field trip reinforces identification skills by allowing students to observe these flowers in their natural setting.
