Health Sciences & University Programs CPR Certification Resources
All students applying for Health Sciences programs will need to have a current CPR certification for Healthcare Providers. The selected course must include the American Heart Association (AHA) logo, which meets the AHA's Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care at the Healthcare Provider level.
The course must include:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for adult, child and infant CPR

Clinical facilities in which students complete clinical experiences and the CA Dental Board (for Dental Hygiene students) will only accept hands-on practice and testing for recertification; no online courses will be accepted. The CPR certification card issued must include the American Heart Association (AHA) logo.
