Anthropology is the study of humanity from our earliest beginnings millions of years ago to our contemporary societies. Anthropologists seek to understand humans from biological, historical, and sociocultural perspectives. Accordingly, anthropologists study everything related to being human. Anthropology is a multicultural discipline that promotes respect for all cultures and peoples in the world, past and present.
