ACE General Education
If you are working on an associate degree, you are required to take general education (GE) classes. The ACE program offers a full range of GE classes required to fulfill the California State University General Education (CSU GE) and Shasta College’s Associate Degree GE patterns. These classes may also work for the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC).
All GE courses are offered in the 8-week format. Most courses are offered online, but a few courses require a hybrid (zoom conference or in-person) component. GE hybrid courses will be offered on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 6 pm-9 pm. ACE offers GE courses every block during fall and spring.
Course scheduling is subject to change depending on degree requirements or curriculum changes. We recommend working with our ACE Counselor to map out your educational plan.
