Title IX
We're Here to Help!
If you or someone in the Shasta College community has experienced discrimination, harassment, sexual assault, dating or domestic violence, or stalking, we encourage you to contact our Title IX Coordinator. The Coordinator will provide you with information about your rights, explain available options, and connect you with supportive resources to help you succeed at Shasta College.
If you're unsure about whether to report but would like assistance in making that decision, please reach out to the Title IX Coordinator. You can speak with a confidential advocate who will help you explore your options in a safe, supportive environment.
Reporting Sexual Harassment, Violence, and Abuse

Shasta College is dedicated to supporting victims of sexual harassment, violence, stalking, and intimate partner violence. We encourage all individuals and witnesses to report incidents, whether on or off campus. Reporting means sharing information with an authority figure, and no immediate decision or action is required. The College will provide support, investigate reports fairly, ensure safety, and take appropriate steps to address risks to the campus community. While prompt reporting is encouraged, there is no time limit, and incidents involving non-community members may still be addressed under this policy.
