Evaluation of Classified Program for CCTC
In June of 2020, the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing published a competitive request for proposals (RFP) for a single award of $250,000 to independently evaluate the California Classified School Employee Teacher Credentialing Program (CCSETC).
Shasta College, in partnership with Sinclair Research Group, submitted a successful application and began a comprehensive statewide evaluation in August of 2020. Shasta College and Sinclair Research Group conducted a qualitative and quantitative evaluation including focus groups and key informant interviews of all stakeholders (program managers, institutions of higher education and classified staff participating in the program) to obtain qualitative feedback on program implementation and satisfaction. Quantitative data was gathered via program records and online survey results.
