California Community College Chancellor's Office Strong Workforce Program

California's Strong Workforce Program (SWP) is an initiative to expand career technical education (CTE) programs in California Community Colleges that encourages cross sector collaboration, employer engagement, and regional partnerships.

Shasta College is part of the North Far North (NFN) region, which is in the process of constructing a regional plan to ensure our CTE programs meet the supply and demand of the labor market by collaborating with multiple colleges and across multiple workforce development boards, including WIOA, AEBG, K-12 and PERKINS.
