- Academic Counseling - Students will demonstrate an improved understanding of academic requirements and the classes they need to take in order to achieve their academic goals.
- Career Counseling – Students will be able to identify actions they can take to clarify their career goals.
- Personal Counseling – Students will be able to identify personal issues affecting their success and create a plan for addressing those issues.
Meeting regularly with a counselor is one of the keys to enhance your success at Shasta College. We strive to meet your needs and make sure you're satisfied with our services. Please come and see us soon!
Comprehensive Education Plan
To maintain priority enrollment, students must develop a comprehensive education plan prior to the end of the third (3rd) semester of enrollment or after completing fifteen (15) semester units of degree applicable course work (Title 5 Regulations 55530).
You must bring a copy of your assessment scores and unofficial transcripts to your Comprehensive Education Plan counseling appointment.
Registration Workshops
Pre-registration workshops are designed to help first time college students learn about the different options available to them as well as various educational pathways and resources to register for classes.
